The 140 000 customers who travel with a monthly season ticket must now make the transition to MOBIB. Monthly season ticket holders will receive a letter in their letter box inviting them to switch to MOBIB.
Customers who have not received this mailing (due to a change of address, etc) should obtain a MOBIB form:
It is especially important to act quickly because several underground stations will be equipped with a system of access control which will be activated by the summer of 2010.
After we have received your form, we'll send you your MOBIB card by mail within 2 months. It will be empty, so you can still use the paper version of the old monthly season ticket until it expires.

- start your monthly season ticket on the day of your choice.
- Benifit our new enlarged distribution channel: Once you receive your MOBIB card, you can charge it at a GO in a BOOTIK and KIOSK. At a later stage you will be able to recharge your ticket via our website or in many news shops and supermarkets.
To date, 424.000 customers already possess a MOBIB card. The transition happens gradually. Holders of an annual pass, customers older than 65 and younger than 12 have already received their MOBIB card.
For those who travel only occasionaly (1, 10 journeys of day tickets) the MOBIB card is available via our BOOTIK online or in our BOOTIK.
